Cookie Policy

minerdeals.eu compares landed prices (item price + VAT + shipping) for cryptocurrency miners across European webshops. We are a comparison site: we do not sell hardware, process orders, or take payments. You always buy from the seller's own webshop.

We use Cookiebot (Usercentrics) to ask for and record your cookie consent. The banner appears on your first visit and lets you accept all, reject non-essential, or choose categories individually.

The consent banner loads before any analytics script, and our analytics tags are marked as "statistics", so they are held back until you consent. You can withdraw or change your consent at any time via the cookie icon in the bottom-left corner of the page (or by clearing the Cookiebot cookie, which makes the banner reappear).

• country — remembers which country is used to show VAT and shipping for your destination. You set it with the "Ship to" selector; on your first visit (before you've chosen anything) we pre-set it based on a best-effort guess of your country from your connection's geolocation, as described in our Privacy Policy. Set for 1 year. Does not track you across sites; if you delete it, we guess again on your next visit, falling back to Germany if the guess isn't possible.
• admin_session — a signed, httpOnly JWT used only for the staff admin area at /admin. It is never set for regular visitors and expires after 7 days.
• Cookiebot consent cookie — stores your consent choices (which categories you allowed and when). Strictly necessary for remembering your decision.

Your light/dark theme preference is stored in your browser's localStorage under the key "theme". It never leaves your browser, is not shared with anyone, and you can clear it from your browser settings.

If you consent to statistics, we load the following. If you reject or don't consent, these scripts never run and no data is collected by them.

• Google Analytics 4 — aggregate, anonymised usage metrics (page views, traffic sources) so we know which pages are useful. IP addresses are truncated/anonymised.
• Microsoft Clarity — anonymised session analytics (how far visitors scroll, where they get stuck). No personal data; individual identity is never recorded.
• Cookiebot — the consent manager itself, to record and synchronise your choices.

• No advertising cookies and no cross-site ad tracking.
• No social-media pixels or retargeting.
• No fingerprinting.
• We don't sell or share data with data brokers.

Besides the Cookiebot banner, every modern browser lets you view, block, and delete cookies in its settings. Deleting the "country" cookie just resets the VAT selector to its default; deleting the Cookiebot cookie will show the consent banner again on your next visit.

If we add or remove a cookie category, we'll update this page. Material changes to how we track you will be reflected in the consent banner so you can re-choose.
