minerdeals.eu is an independent price-comparison site for cryptocurrency miners sold by European webshops. We do not sell hardware, handle payments, or act as an intermediary in any purchase.

• Email address (only if you subscribe to price alerts). We store your email address when you sign up for a price-drop alert, either site-wide or for a specific product. The legal basis is your consent, given by explicitly clicking the confirmation link we email you (double opt-in). We use it solely to send you alert emails — no newsletters, no marketing, no digests.
• Alert preferences. Which scope you subscribed to (all products, a specific product, or a specific shop) and when you confirmed.
• Country (functional, not identifying). To show correct VAT and shipping we use your "Ship to" selection, stored in a cookie. If you haven't chosen a country yet, we make a one-time best-effort guess of your country (not your identity): primarily from a two-letter country code that our server infrastructure (reverse proxy or CDN) derives from the geolocation of your connection — in that case the IP address is processed by that infrastructure to produce the code, but we never store, log, or see the IP itself. When no such signal is available, we fall back to your device's time zone (e.g. "Europe/Budapest"), which your browser reports for display purposes anyway; no IP or network lookup is involved. Either way the result is a coarse country-level signal, never linked to you personally. You can override the guess at any time via the "Ship to" selector, which then takes precedence.
• Analytics (aggregate, consent-gated). If you consent to statistics, Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity collect anonymised usage data (page views, scroll depth, rough region). No advertising profiles, no cross-site tracking.
• Technical logs. Standard web-server and application logs (IP address, user agent, timestamp) kept for security and troubleshooting. These are operational records, not marketing data.

• No accounts for shoppers — the only login on the site is for our own staff admin area.
• No names, addresses, or phone numbers.
• No payment data — we never see it, because we never process a payment.
• No data from the shops we compare beyond publicly listed product and pricing information.

The site's database runs on a server inside the EU. Alert emails are delivered through Zoho Mail (EU datacenter). Analytics are processed by Google (GA4) and Microsoft (Clarity) under their standard data-processing terms, only after you consent.

We never sell your data, share it with advertisers, or use it to build marketing profiles.

Every alert email contains a one-click unsubscribe link. Clicking it immediately and permanently deletes your subscription and its email address from our database — there is no "we'll keep you on file" step. If you never confirm the double opt-in, the unverified subscription is never used for sending.

• Confirmed alert subscriptions: until you unsubscribe (which deletes the row immediately).
• Unconfirmed subscriptions: not used for anything; removed when we clean up stale entries.
• Analytics data: per the retention settings of GA4/Clarity (aggregate, anonymised).
• Server logs: short operational window, then rotated.

You have the right to:

• Access — ask what personal data we hold about you;
• Rectification — correct inaccurate data;
• Erasure — delete your data (for alert subscriptions, the unsubscribe link does this instantly);
• Object to or restrict processing, and withdraw consent at any time (via the Cookiebot banner);
• Data portability of what we hold about you;
• Lodge a complaint with your national data-protection authority.

The site is aimed at adults purchasing mining hardware. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.

We'll post any changes on this page with an updated "last updated" date. If a change materially affects how we use alert-subscriber emails, we'll notify active subscribers by email before it takes effect.
